Meeting Resources

Take them to Thursday’s meeting.Print them, mark them up, cut what doesn’t fit.

Most MTSS meetings don’t fail because the team doesn’t care. They fail because two things never got decided in advance: who does what, and which questions the conversation has to answer.

01The five roles to assign. Facilitator, timekeeper, notetaker, and a navigator for each data system. Meetings stall while someone hunts for a login.

02What each person brings. A list per role, to send out before the first meeting so nobody arrives empty-handed.

03The questions, in order. Including the two nobody asks: who is ready to exit, and who is new to the building since screening.

04What changes by cycle. Fall, winter and spring, and the scheduling trap that turns a planning meeting into a debrief.

Scaffolding, not a script. A structure your team didn’t help build is one they won’t commit to using.

The files are on the next page. I ask for an email so I know who’s using these, not so I can send you things – nothing lands in your inbox unless you tick the box.

Using these with your team and something doesn’t fit? Tell me – that’s how the next version gets better.
